Degree background requirements: Bachelor degree from a regular university.
GPA requirements: MIT does not set minimum GPA requirements for undergraduates or graduate students. Generally, graduate programs in American universities require GPA, especially the GPA in the last two years of undergraduate course should not be lower than 3.0, and individual projects or departments may require higher GPA.
GRE requirements: Most majors require the submission of GRE scores, and some science majors also require or suggest the submission of GRE scores. Some majors can (or can only) use GMAT/LSAT/MCAT test scores.
