During War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's period, he joined the army and participated in the Chinese Expeditionary Force in response to the anti-Japanese call. After Japan surrendered, he retired and returned to school. At school, he served as the president of the Student Union of Northwest Normal University. 1954 After graduating from the Mathematics Department of Northwest Normal University, he stayed in school to teach (during the period 1956~ 1958 graduated from the course of complex variable function of East China Normal University). He has served as a teaching assistant, lecturer, associate professor, professor and tutor for master students. He also served as deputy director of the Department of Mathematics, vice chairman of the school trade union, director of the school's scientific research department, and deputy director of the school's professional title evaluation committee.
