He graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2000 with a doctorate in computer science and technology. In 2004, he was a postdoctoral fellow in management science and engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology. In June 2006, he was awarded as a doctoral supervisor and a professor in June 2006.
