The film tells the story of young Joseph discovering the secret relationship between his mother and the stationmaster of the town railway station. After his father died, Joseph and his mother have been milking for a living, but industrial production soon replaced traditional manual labor. After graduating from high school, Joseph didn't go to college. Although Joseph has a gift for writing poems, he can't get rid of the difficulties of his life and that of his mother.
