Shen's Yan Fengyi is a book that preaches Taoism. Nature is celebrated as a Taoist god. This can be clearly explained from how he was born, how he got into trouble, how he died, how he was reborn, and how he fought in the future and eventually became a physical saint. He is undoubtedly the great god of Taoism.
Strange to say, Buddhism says that he is also their patron saint. It is said that he is the son of the shaman king, known as the ghost king, with three sides and eight forks. At this point, it becomes a question, whether it is a god or a Buddha. How did this argument come about?
This story is very detailed in the search for gods by the three religions, and it is obviously carefully fabricated by Taoist priests. This book says:
As soon as the Taoist priest came up, he insisted that this was Luo Xian opened by the Jade Emperor, not a Buddha. He is 60 feet long, wearing a golden wheel, three heads, nine eyes and six arms, spitting clouds and fog, and taking the stone to hold the law. He gave a cry, and it began to rain and clouds.
Because there are many demon kings in the world, the Jade Emperor ordered him to surrender to everyone, so Tuoba GUI is the third son of Tuoba Wang Excavate, and his mother Su Zhi's wife gave birth to the eldest son Jun and the second son Muhu. On the fifth day of his birth, Cha Na bathed in the East China Sea, set foot on the Crystal Palace, and then moved to the Pagoda Palace. The dragon king rebelled angrily because he stepped on the temple. When he is handsome for seven days, he can fight against Kowloon. In desperation, the Dragon King complained to the Jade Emperor. Knowing this, he cut down the Dragon King from Tianmen and killed him.
Later, he went to the emperor's altar, holding a Tathagata's bow and arrow in his hand, and shot the son of the Queen of Historical Records. However, when Scrooge raised his army, he put down his father's wand on the altar and killed Scrooge.
His father Li Jing regards historical records as the leader of the devil. After he killed the devil and angered him, he cut off his own flesh and blood and gave it back to his father, while keeping the true god and seeking perfection from the Buddha. It can also be seen from here that Taoism was still related to Buddhism when reconstructing the story, but the immortal biography completely changed this point, saying only that Taiyi saved him and cut off the connection between Na Zhi and Buddhism.
Knowing that he could subdue demons, the Buddha broke lotus stems into bones, twisted them into meat, shredded them into shins, and cut their leaves into clothes. He gave them the secret order of Falun Gong and accepted the word Mu Da Zi, so that he could cross the river into the sea and move the stars ... So demons are like ox king demons, lion demons, elephant demons, horsehead demons, world-swallowing demons, osmanthus demons, nine-headed demons and so on.
There are many demons, but the well-informed magic skills change greatly. So at the meeting in Lingshan, the evil spirit became a general. He was born in heaven. The Jade Emperor appointed him as the first special envoy, consisting of 36 members. They are Yuan Hetianmen, the leader of the eternal city.
This record appeared before the legend of Kamikaze, and it was composed of Taoist priests who were good at stealing Buddhist information, among which Buddhism and Taoism were confused and very rough. However, the author of the legend of kamikaze is much smarter, and all those who have been involved in Buddhism have been obliterated. Coupled with the story of chopping people, he became a standard Taoist immortal. Since then, the image of Taoism has been widely circulated among the people and has never declined.
Second, what is Buddhism and its father?
He was originally a Buddhist god. In China, his name appeared in the Tang Dynasty at the latest. When Tang Zhengzi opened the sky, there was a strict monk named Xuanlv in Ximing Temple in Chang 'an, and there was a magical story:
Hard work, burning and refining are prohibited by law. Sanzang eats and drinks meat, and his words and deeds are rude. When he is drunk, he often makes noise and covers his seat. Xuan Lu is very unwilling. Suddenly, at midnight, the law was announced and lice were thrown on the ground. Sanzang, half drunk, repeatedly shouted: lawyers take Buddha! As we all know, God created different people. Dress up as a gift and throw it to the teacher. Persuasion is too painful. He often walks at night and suddenly feels someone holding his feet. It is a teenager who is preaching the law and caring for it. Xuan Lu asked: Who is the night disciple here? The boy said: An extraordinary man is Prince Naxi, the son of King Pisha. The reason for protecting the law is to support monks for a long time. Xuan Lu said: Poverty and laziness troubled the prince to get along with God. Some people in the western regions can do Buddhism, and I hope the prince can do the same. The prince said: there are Buddha's teeth. Although this is a long-term wealth, * * * is still willing to give up. Fa Xuan, that is, the Buddha's tooth of Chongsheng Temple.
This place is the son of King Ba Sha and the patron saint of Buddhism, which is much earlier than Taoism in Xuanzong period of Tang Dynasty. It's a pity that there are so many magical powers in this book.
In the Song Dynasty, the Zen monograph "Five Lights Meeting Yuan" appeared, and the book also included the theory of Prince Ina. The prince will return the meat to his mother, analyze the bones, return it to his father, and then show up, bringing great strength to his parents.
This Prince Nai is naturally Prince Nai, but he has written it wrong. The evidence is the canglang poem of Yan Yu, a famous poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. Wu, the author of Cang Lang Shi Hua, wrote in Cang Lang Shi Hua: If you untie its bone and return it to its father, you will untie its flesh and return it to its mother.
The story of lotus incarnation was first seen here, but it is very vague. Why give the meat back to mom and the bones back to dad? What does the so-called present itself mean? It has its own, but it has another origin. What is the origin of this? Bringing great strength to parents is obviously similar to the status of Buddha, which is beyond the reach of ordinary people. what's up
At this point, the author has to trace the identity of his parents. The opening of the sky says that Cha Na's father is the king of sand. Now check the king's feet.
Among the four heavenly kings, the patron saint of the two corridors at the entrance of the Buddhist temple, one of them is King Ba Sha. This heavenly king, also known as the multi-tone heavenly king, guards the north and is responsible for protecting Buddhism. His appearance is fierce and terrible. In ancient myths and legends, he married another goddess-auspicious day. Auspicious day, also known as merit day, is said to be born by Gui Mu; There is also a saying that Jiri and Vishnu are brother and sister, and they are very beautiful. Some kings of Ba Sha are like men and women, which means they are a couple.
King Ba Sha can get married and have children, which shows that he is not a monk, but a god who protects the law. The patron saint can be a secular person, so some people say that King Ba Sha was originally a hero of a tribe in the Western Regions. Because of his ability to carry forward and protect Buddhism, he was honored as the king by later generations and became one of the four donkey kong of Buddhism.
King Ba Sha is a secular man, so it is not surprising to get married and have children. Of course, it's probably his son. Unfortunately, few myths and legends are recorded in Buddhist scriptures. He was born in the home of Vishnu, what kind of Buddha or bodhisattva he is, why, the meat belongs to his mother, the bones belong to his father, and why the avatar told his parents, all of which are difficult to verify. Because of this, it was used by Taoism and subtly introduced into Taoism from Buddhism.
Third, it is the product of mutual infiltration between Buddhism and Taoism.
It is precisely because of the serious lack of Cha Na's life experience that Taoist priests who have always been good at finding the source of characters from Buddhism have been staring at this loophole and started writing articles. They took the name Cha Na and insisted that it was a Taoist god and a fairy under the Jade Emperor. For the convenience of magic, they were reincarnated in Jing Li's home and lived as human beings. As a person, how to make an avatar and become a hero can be said to be fictional and dazzling. Especially brilliantly, Taoism grasped the words "return the meat to the mother, return the bone to the father" and fabricated a series of reasonable and ups and downs stories. This series of winding and moving stories is as wonderful as Greek mythology. For hundreds of years, the story of shipwreck has entered novels and plays, and it is also a hot topic in film and television dramas. It has been talked about by countless readers and audiences and spread for thousands of years.
Although Taoist priests always like to steal Buddhist materials, they do have the ingenious ability to turn decay into magic, which makes the author admire their ingenious ability to make up stories.
Three hundred years in Song, Yuan and Ming Dynasties was an extraordinary period in which Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism in China were mutually exclusive, opposed, infiltrated and integrated. The final result of integration is that you have me and I have you. Those difficult and complicated theories are not to be said here. It is far from loyalty and filial piety to talk about the journey to the west. Empty view is fallacy, flying underground and burning medicine stove are mixed together!
Finally, let's talk about the glittering magical pagoda held by King Li Jing of Tota.
As we all know, there are stupas in China because of the introduction of Buddhism. There is no land now, and no one knows. This thing was originally called Shu Du Bo, also called Fu Shu or Fu Tu. It is a place where Buddhist articles and scriptures are placed, and it is also a place where relics of Buddhist relics and monks are buried. Taoism does not have them. Because Taoism advocates alchemy, Dan can make people live forever and ascend to heaven to become immortals. What is left is a medicine stove, not a relic, and there is no need for a pagoda.
Strangely, however, the only treasure in the hands of Taoist figure Li Jing is a pagoda. This pagoda is actually in the hands of King Ba Sha, symbolizing that he can protect Buddhism, but now it has fallen into the hands of Li Jing. This was obviously stolen by Taoist priests from Buddhism. As for the representative works of Taoist priests in which period, it is difficult to textual research. Although the classic King Tota appeared in Water Margin, the nickname of King Tota probably came from King Ba Sha, not Jing Li. As for how Li Jing made the transition from a famous Tang Dynasty to Shang Dynasty, I'm afraid it was a long-term evolution.
