Baozuka revue Company, formerly known as Treasure Singing Team, was founded on 19 13 by Kazumi Kobayashi, former president of Hankyu Express Railway, with both training and performance. 19 14 was adapted into a women's opera troupe, and the opera performance began. 1939, training and performance were separated, and Baozhong Music School was established. 1940 changed its name to Baozhong revue Company, and now it has become a large performance group. The base of the troupe is Baozhong Grand Theatre in Baozhong City, Hyogo Prefecture. At the same time, in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, there is also the Tokyo Baozhong Theater, a subsidiary of Baozhong revue Company.

The members of Baozuka revue Company are unmarried women, and getting married means leaving the troupe. Of course, male roles are also played by women. Members are required to receive two years of rigorous training and education at Baozhong Music School. Students from the Conservatory of Music perform on stage after completing the course, and then are assigned to various groups.

At present, the Opera Troupe has five groups: Flower, Moon, Snow, Star and Week. There is also a "Commissioner" composed of skilled senior league members. Special performers do not belong to any group, but support the performances of various groups in the form of "special performances". Among them, Hua Group and Yue Group are veterans who have existed since 192 1, while Zhou Group is a newcomer born in 1998. The characteristics of each group are different. The traditional orientation of each group is the flower of singing and dancing, the moon of drama, the snow of harmony, the star of costume and the universe of youth, but it has gradually declined in recent years and has new characteristics.

Each group consists of a pair of top stars and 50~80 students. The representative colors of each group are: flower group-pink, moon group-yellow, snow group-green, star group-blue, and week group-purple.

Based on the gorgeous and delicate visual effects, coupled with the unique elegance and handsomeness of women disguised as men, and adhering to the motto of "purity, modesty and beauty", it has formed a unique attractive drama culture and female culture.
