In the southern region, the focus is on heatstroke prevention and cooling in high temperature season. Although the growing and fattening wild boar has strong adaptability to external temperature, it has poor tolerance to high temperature in the later stage of fattening. The fattening pigsty should be built into an open double-row pigsty, the height should be more than 4 meters, and the height should be increased as much as possible to facilitate ventilation and cooling.
Fig. 5-6 The south pigsty that automatically feeds fattening boars requires the pigsty to face south, so as to build an east-west pigsty. In summer, more trees should be planted in front of the south wall of the pigsty, and the canopy should be used to block the sun, and a sunshade net can be set to block the sun radiation and reduce the temperature of the pigsty.
In order to make rational use of the temperature difference between the south row piggery and the north row piggery, fattening pigs should be arranged in the south row piggery in the early stage. Finishing pigs are arranged in the northern pigsty, which is relatively cool in the later period. Spray cooling facilities should also be installed in the pigsty to prepare for the artificial cooling of the pigsty in high temperature season.
In the north, the emphasis is on cold protection and heat preservation in cold season. On the contrary, the northern pigsty and the southern pigsty should be built into a semi-open double-row pigsty running north and south, and some open areas should be appropriately increased. The length of the opening from the pigsty wall to the top of the shed is lengthened to 1.2m, which increases the irradiation area of the pigsty by sunlight in winter. In winter, the open part is pressed with double-layer plastic film, and grass seeds should be covered on the film at night to increase the thermal insulation capacity of the pigsty.
The height of pig houses in northern fattening houses should be appropriately reduced, generally 3 ~ 3.2 meters. Lowering the height is to reduce the space for raising pigs, which is beneficial to heat preservation in winter. In the northern fattening pigsty, it is necessary to build a north-south double-row pigsty. In winter, we can make full use of sunlight to raise the temperature of pigsty. The east circle of the pigsty can get sunshine in the morning, and the west circle of the pigsty can get sunshine in the afternoon. Unlike the east-west double-row pigsty, the pigsty in the north is dark and humid, and there is no sunshine all the year round. This trend of pigsty can make full use of the sunshine in winter and ensure that the whole pigsty gets enough sunshine. It is very cool in summer, which is conducive to the growth of fattening wild boar.
The fattening pigsty in the north can be built without beams, and the partition wall of each pigsty is raised as a load-bearing beam. Choose 12cm solid brick. Ventilation in summer, where 1m above the ground is a solid wall, and masonry above 1m is a flower wall, which solves the ventilation problem in north-south direction and summer. Low-cost cement poles are used in the shelves, which are not only low-cost and durable, but also increase the bearing capacity of the roof truss and improve the snow disaster resistance. A cement stick should be placed in the middle of the open space on the east and west sides of the pigsty, so as to lay plastic film and straw curtain in winter, increase the bearing capacity of plastic, and prevent the film from being collapsed by heavy snow in winter.
The jumping ability of special wild boar is stronger than that of domestic pig, and the requirement of fattening house is greater than that of domestic pig. Each wild boar needs an area of 1.4 ~ 1.5 m2, and the span of the pigsty can be expanded because of the beamless structure. The general width is 1 1.5m and the length is 89m.. Set up 52 pens, which can raise 500 fattening wild boar.
One side of the outer wall of the pigsty is made of red bricks (single wall, width 12 cm) to build a small circle with a width of 80 cm, and a water outlet is left at the side where the water dispenser is installed for pigs to excrete feces and pee here. This method is beneficial to the "three-point positioning" of training pigs.
Don't build the wall too high. In order to facilitate the breeder to clean up the feces, it is advisable to build the wall 50 cm high. The ground in the small fence should have an inclined slope to facilitate the leakage of the water dispenser to flow to the excrement outlet. The slope of drinking fountains and excrement outlets should be 6%.
Fig. 5-7 The growing and fattening male piggery allows pigs to develop good habits, such as drinking water, urinating and defecating in small circles, and resting and moving in large circles. Ensure the hygiene of the big circle.
If the pig's urine and feces are not separated and mixed with the water dripping from the water dispenser, it is impossible for the pigsty to be covered with grass in cold winter. The separated broken grass can be put in a big circle to keep pigs warm in the cold season. At first, breeders should pile together. After a long time, pigs will consciously gather mat grass into a corner with their hooves.
This structure is very suitable for building fattening houses in cold regions. Its advantages are that it can isolate the pollution of pig manure and urine to the pig house, ensure the hygiene of the pig house, help to spread grass for heating in winter, raise the temperature of the pig house and improve the growth speed of fattening pigs.
Special wild boar needs to increase the amount of exercise in the late fattening period. If raised like a domestic pig, the meat quality will deteriorate and the fat deposition will increase. According to the characteristics of special wild boar, a playground should be set next to the pigsty for fattening wild boar to exercise.
The playground is generally located on one side of the fattening pig house, which is convenient for pigs to enter the playground directly from the pig house. The area requirement is about 300 square meters.
The enclosure of the sports ground requires a solid wall with a height of 1.5 meters, a 50 cm barbed wire on the wall, and fast-growing poplar trees planted around it. Climbing plants are planted on the outer wall of the sports ground to provide shade for the sports ground in summer. The playground should be paved with fine sand with a thickness of 20 cm to protect the limbs and hooves of pigs. It is not suitable for paving cement floor, because the temperature of cement floor is too high in summer under the sunshine and it is too slippery after rain, which is easy to hurt the limbs and hooves of pigs.
There should be an order when exercising, and pigs can only enter the playground after training. At first, put them in a circle, so that pigs can be familiar with the entrance and exit of the site and the pigsty, and get familiar with the pigsty. When you can go back to the pen house, put a few more laps at the same time, so as not to mess around, which is also good for management.
