Pang, male, Han nationality, 196 1 born in Chongyang, Hubei, doctor, professor, doctoral supervisor, 1982 graduated from Jianghan Petroleum Institute (now Yangtze University), 1985 graduated from Daqing Petroleum Institute (now Northeast Petroleum University) with a master's degree. He used to be the director of Basin and Reservoir Research Center of Youshi University (Beijing) in China, and now he is the vice president of Youshi University (Beijing) in China, the director of the Key Laboratory of Petroleum and Natural Gas Accumulation Mechanism of the Ministry of Education, and the research assistant to the president of Youshi University (Beijing) in China. Editor-in-chief of Petroleum Science, editorial board members of more than ten magazines such as acta petrolei sinica, Petroleum Exploration and Development, Journal of Petroleum University, Natural Gas Geoscience and Petroleum and Natural Gas Geology, and currently head of the oil and gas migration group of China Petroleum Institute.

He has long been engaged in teaching and research in basin analysis, oil and gas resources evaluation and oil and gas accumulation mechanism. Presided over the completion of 26 national, provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects and oilfield enterprises. Published more than 20 papers 120 and 7 monographs by the first author. As the main contributor, he won the first prize 1 item and the second prize 1 item of the national scientific and technological progress. He has won the first Youth Science and Technology Award in Heilongjiang Province, Sun Youth Science and Technology Award, 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes and 3 third prizes for provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress.
