Li Ang is a registered player and Go coach in Beijing Chess Academy, and his career is divided into three stages. During his teaching, he trained a number of cutting-edge chess players such as Chen and Zhou Ruiyang. He also traveled to Europe, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Norway and other ten countries and more than 30 cities to teach Weiqi.

He is the author of Fifty Lectures on Children's Learning Weiqi, Complete Works of Xiu Ce, Battle of the Throne, Chess Jihad, Battle of Supreme Status, Battle of Guoqi, Tekelon Cup, etc. There are 28 works with about 8 million words, such as Li Changgao, Liu Changhe, Zhao Zhixun and Kobayashi Kuanyi.
