Introduction to Song Wu:

Song Wu is an important figure in Shi Naian's classic Water Margin.

It also appeared in Jin Ping Mei, because it ranked second, also called Wu Erlang.

In order to avoid being arrested by the government, he disguised himself as a monk, and people in the Jianghu called him Monkey Song Wu.

Song Wu once killed a white-fronted tiger with his bare hands in Jingyanggang. He once got together with Lu, Yang Zhi and others in Erlongshan, Qingzhou. When the three mountains gathered together, they entered Liangshan and took the 14th place, becoming one of the top ten generals.

Later, he was recruited by the imperial court and conquered Liao, Qing and Fang La with Song Jiang. He was eventually injured by a flying knife in the process of conquering Fang La and lost his left arm. He was named the founder of Zhong Qing, and finally died in Liuhe Hall, Hangzhou, at the age of 80.
