1946 February 19 (the 18th day of the first lunar month), Li Cunbao was born in a poor peasant family in Donghuai Village, Huaihe District, Jubei County (now Wang Hu Town, Wulian County). He spent his childhood and adolescence here.

Li Cunbao

When you are five years old and enter the primary school in this village, you are full of childlike innocence and will inevitably be naughty. But he never tires of practicing, and he won't miss a word if he can't write well. As a result, I actually practiced "good handwriting" from an early age. Later, when he was in middle school, the teacher took advantage of his strengths and made him a newspaper reporter. 1In July, 959, Cunbao, who was only 1 1 years old, was admitted to Guanshuai Middle School. At this time, Bao Bao is not satisfied with simply practicing calligraphy, but extensively dabbles in various books, and often applies the writing skills and vocabulary learned from extracurricular reading to his own composition properly. Therefore, his excellent Chinese achievements often make teachers and classmates sit up and take notice. The blackboard newspaper he compiled is rich in vocabulary and vivid in style, and is often praised by teachers and classmates.

Li Cunbao's three-year junior high school life is catching up with three years of national economic difficulties. After graduating from junior high school, his family could not afford to send him to senior high school, so 14 of Li Cunbao had to go to school to farm. He took part in the collective labor of the production team, hoeing, cutting wheat, drying melons, pushing carts, carrying loads, hitting stones and doing everything. In the case that food and clothing are hard to find, it is of course a lot of regret for young and studious babies. However, there are many ways to make up for his regret, that is, to practice physical strength, find books to read, and listen to the old farmer telling stories. ...

Li Cunbao, who was born in the war years and grew up in the transitional period between the old and the new, spent his childhood in a difficult struggle with fellow villagers under the dual nutrition of poor food and knowledge of life. He set foot in society too early, became familiar with life, matured politically and ideologically as early as possible, and stored the first material warehouse for his later creation.

After joining the army, Li Cunbao worked as a soldier, monitor and platoon leader. Besides being busy with training, he also wants to "dance ink". First, he quietly wrote poems in a notebook, then openly asked his comrades-in-arms, and then "re-applied the same trick" and boldly "published" his poems on the blackboard newspaper in the camp. Encouraged by his comrades-in-arms, he sent his poems to the newspaper to satisfy his "luck", which was actually adopted and published by the newspaper. With a large number of poems, lyrics, even essays and novels coming out one after another, he also attracted the attention of superior leaders. First transferred to the regiment as a news officer, 1970 transferred to the propaganda team of the political department of Jinan Army (predecessor of the avant-garde song and dance troupe) as a creator, and officially embarked on the creative road.

During this period, he wrote nearly a thousand poems, lyrics, novels, essays and large and medium-sized dramas. Although most of his works have been published or staged, and some of them have won awards, he has not made any special achievements. He is not satisfied with a mediocre life, he is looking forward to a breakthrough. 1979 One day in early spring, he and several founders of Jinan Army were ordered to go to the front of Yunnan for an interview. In August of the same year, he once again went to the frontline troops in Guangxi to live in depth. This made his soul undergo the baptism of a war. Heroes emerged in the self-defense counterattack, and their epic achievements infected and shocked him, encouraging him to write heroes boldly and truly, his personality and his mental journey. In the wet cat's ear hole, in the tent in the jungle, under the beating candlelight, he wrote a living "This One" with tears in his eyes.

Li Cunbao said: "Prose pays attention to spirit, rhyme, interest and taste. Qi can be a raging waterfall or a calm wave in Pinghu, which is always suitable for righteousness but not evil; Rhyme can be morning bells and drums or cicadas singing insects, which is always elegant but not vulgar; Fun can be playing tigers with Song Wu, or watching the moon in the clouds. High is better than low. The taste can be abalone with bear's paw or cucumber and potato. It should always be honest, not thin Prose is easier to write than to do. It's not easy to arrange the small squares of Chinese characters without breathing and feeling into larger squares, and make them vivid, sensible and reasonable, and it's really hard to dream ... "

In 2000, the first issue of October magazine published Li Cunbao's long article "The Robbery of Yimeng", which deeply pondered this social and cultural phenomenon from the perspective of human nature and gave the literary world a surprise in the new century. From a series of great cultural essays by Li Cunbao, we can feel the writer's atmosphere and profound sense of hardship. He is a writer who always cares about the fate of the nation, the future of mankind and the future of the universe with a high sense of responsibility. Hegel said: "The mission of art is to find a suitable artistic expression for the spirit of a nation." It is for this great original intention that Li Cunbao put all his feelings, all his joys and sorrows, and all his philosophical thinking into his creation.

His series of cultural essays continues. The long article Farewell to the Past Years published in the third issue of October magazine takes the love between Ying Ying and Zhang Sheng in The West Chamber as a clue, deeply dissects Li Cun's "cliche" that "love will always be a constant reading for human beings", and fully shows readers the "root of human nature" in the national culture that breeds beautiful love, so that readers can enjoy new art and enjoy it from many parts of the country. ...

There are all kinds of writers, some are learning-oriented and some are hermits; Some writers are "trumpeter" Li Cun. They stand at the forefront of the times and play variations of the times with their own horns. Such writers are the most sensitive, and their eyes are multifaceted. male

Our pulse is closely linked with the times! Li Cunbao is undoubtedly a trumpeter writer. He sincerely captured this ever-changing moment with a keen heart, and then wrote it down and turned it into a profound work. All this stems from the writer's unique feeling of life, high sense of responsibility and sacred mission.

Once, when he was interviewing troops and fishing villages in Qingdao, he heard that "whales" used to haunt, but now they are rare. Later, after watching the picture of whale collective suicide on TV, I was worried about the ecological balance between man and nature and between man and animals. In this consciousness, he wrote 18,000 words of Whale Wound. After the publication of this article, domestic 12 literary journals competed to reprint it, and later won the first Confucius Cup essay competition. The Yellow River was cut off, and the writer was moved by it. He can't get rid of the huge picture of the Yellow River churning, majestic and desolate in Ma Benteng, but now it will disappear in the vast sea of clouds ... The writer's heart can't calm down any more. Standing at the intersection of history, he calmly examined the Yellow River from a unique perspective of transcending history, the times and the future, and created a 15,000-word dream of the great river, a philosopher's affectionate writing. The award-winning of one work after another has added a lot of luster to his literary palace. In this glory, he only has a faint sunset-like dignity, because the accumulation of life dilutes the joy of success. Li's prose creation is a reflection between history and reality. In his cultural prose, he not only has a brand-new perspective and incisive insights in explaining historical events and figures, but also intends to take history as a mirror and reflect on history, making a strong call for moral dignity and human ideals. Its grandeur and agitation have opened up a new realm of modern prose.

Although Li Cunbao is a famous writer, he is very modest. Even in front of the younger generation, he never points fingers, but speaks with his own writing feelings and experiences. When talking with him, whether it is classical literature or modern literature, whether it is philosophy or Buddhism, he is quick-thinking and eloquent, sometimes reciting famous sentences and sometimes quoting classics. In the face of his erudition, I can't help but respect him, but the writer joked that he only has junior high school education.

Reflected in them will be deeper, deeper is a kind of temperament, but also a gesture towards life. Li Cunbao's rich life experiences gave birth to his deep temperament.

Li Cunbao

From 65438 to 0946, Li Cunbao was born in a village in Wulian County. Qilu's traditional cultural atmosphere gave him the aura of literature, and the simple rural style gave him integrity and kindness. /kloc-joined the army in 0/964 and came to a certain unit in Qingdao Garrison. An accidental opportunity made him have an indissoluble bond with the pen. 1970 transferred to the propaganda department workshop of Jinan Military Political Department. During this period, he experienced life in the frontier defense forces many times, then went to the * * * Art Academy for further study, and later served as the vice president of the * * * Art Academy ... He walked steadily and "wrote like a man", and his works were magnificent because of his generosity, integrity, boldness and enthusiasm.

"There are gains and losses in the chest and poetry books in the belly." The author is open-minded and sincere, and never pretends to be reserved. Although his reputation is "prominent", he never shows off. He refuses all mediocrity and temptation, and often refuses interviews with some media. After work, he is quietly reading Chinese and foreign classics. His only hobby is appreciating calligraphy and painting and strange stones. He is a person who has always adhered to the principle that writing is the road to loneliness. On the surface, he lives in seclusion, but in fact, he has the lofty heart that China literati used to have. This elegant humanistic character is a lonely sail sailing against the current in the tide of cross-flow of material desires.

After the success of "The Garland under the Mountain", Li Cunbao successively served as the director of the workshop of Jinan Army, the vice president of * * * Art College and the vice president of Chinese Writers Association. However, he never put down his pen to be an official. In addition to his busy official duties, he insisted on writing and constantly created masterpieces. 1985, his novella Nineteen Graves in the Mountains was published, which once again attracted people's attention. His or his long reportage Soul of the King, Nine Chapters of Yimeng, Disaster of Yimeng, Danqing Cross, Ever and other works have been published in national newspapers or publishing houses and received wide acclaim. Especially after the publication of Dream of the Great River, it caused great repercussions in the literary and art circles. Five newspapers including Wen Yi Daily and Qilu Evening News published full-page comments, and many famous literary critics fully affirmed his great prose creation.

Only when a person stands at the peak of the times can his voice shake the sky and his works last forever! [2-3]

The wreath at the foot of the mountain makes hundreds of millions of people cry.

Li Cunbao is not satisfied with his achievements. He believes that the published works are far from reflecting the rich connotations contained in those living materials. The creative impulse to comprehensively and profoundly reflect the whole picture of self-defense counterattack is getting stronger and stronger. He talked orally with young colleagues inside and outside the military for many times about the idea and specific structure of creating a "garland under the mountain" (hereinafter referred to as "garland"), which was unanimously endorsed by his colleagues. 1in April, 1982, he went to Beijing to attend the symposium on military literature creation, listened to the speeches of relevant leaders of the Central Military Commission, and listened to the discussions of his colleagues, which greatly inspired how to reflect the contradictions within the army. Because the characters in "Garland" survived in Bao Bao's memory for a long time, and the plot was vivid, he did not leave the structure on paper, but listed a list of characters, which became a novella "Garland under the Mountain" that was unexpected and caused a strong sensation.

Garland first touches on Mr. Feng Mu, a leading figure in contemporary literary criticism. After reading the manuscript of Garland in one breath on a Saturday night, he decided: "This is really a good work, a work full of lofty revolutionary feelings, which can improve and purify people's ideological realm, and a work that truly excavates and reproduces the magnificent and precious spiritual quality endowed by our heroic soldiers ..." Feng Lao has a unique vision, and "Garland" is really a sensation. The novel was republished and put on the screen, the screen and the stage of many plays. The novel Garland won an award in the whole army and was translated and published. Participated in the screenplay film "Garland" and won the screenplay award of the fifth film "Golden Rooster Award", which was shown in the United States, Japan, Italy, Hongkong, Taiwan Province Province and other countries and regions. ...

Readers, audiences and experts generally believe that the success of Garland lies in the outstanding authenticity of the work, and the concrete embodiment of authenticity lies in his facing up to and boldly revealing the contradictions and conflicts in military life. In a sense, this has made a breakthrough contribution to the creation of military literature.
