The two sides will jointly build Changzhou Geriatric Clinical Medical Research Center, Geriatric Rehabilitation Center, Geriatric Nursing Specialist Nurse Training Base, Hospice Care and Long-term Care Ward Demonstration Center to lead the development of Changzhou Geriatric Health Service.

By the end of 20 19, there were 937,900 elderly people over 60 in the city, accounting for 24.36% of the total registered population, which was higher than the provincial and national average.

At present, there are only three tertiary hospitals for the aged in Jiangsu Province.

The seventh hospital was built in 1946, and it is the only third-class first-class hospital in the east of our city. On May 20 19, it was upgraded to a tertiary geriatric hospital.
