Ding Jinhua

Ding Jinhua, male, professor, member of Jiu San Society, tutor of master students, 1935, was born in Jingjiang City, Jiangsu Province. In his early years, he studied in Jingjiang primary and secondary schools, Jingjiang County Middle School (junior high school) and Jiangyin County Middle School (senior high school). 1952 was admitted to the Department of Plant Protection of Nanjing Agricultural College. 1956 stayed in school to teach after graduation. 196 1 teaches in Nannong Jiangpu College, taking into account the plant protection technology of the internship farm. 1973, he was transferred back to the school, that is, Jiangsu Agricultural College in Yangzhou at that time, to assist Professor Huang Qilin in the classification study of rice planthoppers. After Nannong resumed his studies, he served as the head of the teaching and research group of agricultural insects in Nanjing Agricultural University, the director of Jiangsu Insect Society, and was employed as a part-time researcher in China Rice Research Institute from 65438 to 0996. 1992 received special government allowance.

He has been engaged in teaching agricultural entomology for a long time, specializing in rice planthopper insects.

In teaching, the course construction of agricultural entomology 65438-0995 won the second-class excellent course in colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province, and the course construction paper "Deepening the reform of teaching links and improving the overall level of agricultural entomology" 65438-0996 won the third prize of teaching achievements of Jiangsu Provincial Education Commission. Three versions of agricultural entomology textbooks were compiled (199 1, 2002, 2006), among which the 2 1 century course textbook published in 2002 was rated as a provincial-level excellent textbook, which made an important contribution to the application of agricultural entomology as a national excellent course.

In scientific research, 76 papers have been published (Annex I). A total of 48 new genera and 109 new species were published in the study of rice planthopper (annex 4). Scientific research achievement award 10 (Annex II), in which "Plant Taxonomy Research" won the second prize of scientific and technological progress of the State Education Commission 1987, the rest won the first prize of national scientific and technological progress 1, 65 second prizes of national natural science, and 65 first prizes of scientific and technological progress, natural science and second prizes of China Academy of Sciences.

In terms of works, 25 volumes of teaching materials, monographs and dictionaries have been published (Annex 3), among which the monographs edited by the chief editor are Fauna of China (Insecta, Homoptera and Rice Planthopper), Nilaparvata lugens and its population management, Color Atlas of Common Rice Planthopper in China, Rice Planthopper in Northeast China, Rice Planthopper in Gansu and Dictionary of Plant Protection (won 65438+) Co-edited by Migratory Entomology and Homoptera, Economic Insects in China, co-edited by Agricultural Insects in China, Insects in Tibet, Forest Insects in Yunnan, Forest Insects in Hainan, Insects in Fujian and Dictionary of Contemporary Encyclopedia Knowledge.
