Ludian Town is located in the hinterland of Zhongyue Songshan Mountain 12km east of Dengfeng City. It is the east gate of Dengfeng, with superior geographical location and convenient traffic conditions. It is the only place for Chinese and foreign tourists to watch the Shaolin scenic spot in Songshan Mountain, and it is also an important window for Dengfeng's foreign exchange. The town covers a total area of 56 square kilometers, with 24 130 mu of cultivated land and a total population of 27,000, including 22,300 agricultural people. It governs Luxi Village, Ludong Village, Lunan Village, Lubei Village, Dongwusi Village, Xiwusi Village, Zhangjiamen Village, Lizigou Village, Liujiagou Village, Shenjiayao Village and Longtougou Village. 1August, 993, the town was built by the countryside; 1February, 994, was named as "Zhongzhou Famous Town"; /kloc-0 was designated as a pilot town for the construction of small towns in China in March 1995.

The town's total social output value reached 654.38+0 billion yuan, and its fiscal revenue reached 654.38+0.2 billion yuan. The per capita income of farmers reached 6600 yuan. The telephone penetration rate is nearly 50%, reaching the goal of a well-off society.
