Male, born in August, 1968, from Lushan County, Sichuan Province. At present, he is distinguished professor, Ph.D. and doctoral supervisor of School of Life Sciences, Nanjing Normal University. Chief discipline leader of national key disciplines of zoology, director of Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Biodiversity and Biotechnology, general manager of "Research on Animal Diversity and Functional Genes", third phase of "2 1 1" of national key disciplines construction project, and director of Institute of Animal Genetic Resources. He is also an expert in the evaluation of projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, and a reviewer of many authoritative core journals at home and abroad, such as Molecular Ecology, Journal of Genetics, Medical Science Monitor, China Science, Science Bulletin, Journal of Zoology and Journal of Zoology. He has been to Japan, the United States, Britain, Hong Kong and other countries or regions to conduct research or attend international academic conferences. He made oral reports at international conferences twice and was invited to participate in the "Young Scientists Forum" sponsored by China Association for Science and Technology twice.
