The training of octupole boxing emphasizes the use of eight parts: head, shoulder, elbow, hand, tail, hip, knee and foot. Therefore, the name of octupole requires our disciples to exert the functions of these eight parts to the extreme. According to legend, Wu Zhong, 65,438+05 years old, practiced boxing hard during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, and became sworn friends with the Lai couple in Ansolo Village, teaching boxing, big gun skills and the secrets of boxing equipment. With the consent of Wu Zhong, Wu Zhong's nephew named the original nameless boxing "Open-door octupole boxing" and wrote the boxing score. Since then, more and more people have sought octupole boxing. Forty years later, Wu Yong, the nephew of Wuzhong, opened the door to teach art, and dozens of people asked for art. 1926, Wu Huiqing, the grandson of Wuzhong's nephew, continued to compose music with the help of his disciples and nephews. 1985, Wu Huiqing's grandson Wu Lianzhi resumed his boxing performance.
Wu Lianzhi, born in Bajiquan family from 65438 to 0947, is the seventh generation descendant of Bajiquan. /kloc-when he was 0/8 years old, his father was teaching his disciples to practice guns, and he was criticized by master because he couldn't shake the heavy guns. However, when Wu Lianzhi shook it gently, he suddenly became arrogant. My father thought Wu Lianzhi was a good material for practicing martial arts, so he taught his son all the true meaning of Bajiquan.
1976, the old master Wu Xiufeng passed away. Before he died, he ordered the position of the Sect to be passed on to his second son, Lian Zhi. However, many disciples in the gate refused to accept it, and octupole boxing has always been leaderless. 1985, Mengcun gathered more than 600 Bajiquan disciples from all over the country to attend the meeting and elect the president of the Bajiquan Research Association. On the eve of the election meeting, one of Wu Lianzhi's teachers and brothers was an octupole master. He found Wu Lianzhi and said, "I'll teach you a few tricks to avoid making jokes." Say that finish, a recruit liuhe pounced on Wu Lianzhi. I didn't expect Wu Lianzhi to turn around, stretch out his hand and hit his fist on the shoulder. The senior stumbled and almost fell to the ground. Exemptions never imagined that their wrists would be easily caught by Wu Lianzhi, and even more did not expect that Wu Lianzhi's wrists would have such great strength. Even the moves used by Wu Lianzhi, he has never seen. At the presidential election meeting the next day, although some people were still unconvinced, no one dared to go forward and fight.
In 2002, Wu Lianzhi gave a lecture at Bajiquan Wushu School in Seoul at the invitation of Korean disciples. At that time, Wu Lianzhi was invited to compete with Korean Taekwondo masters. A 60-year-old man went to compete with a 26-year-old man, and everyone was sweating for Wu Lianzhi. Unexpectedly, after only four hits, the Korean youth fell four times.
20 10 March, Wu Lianzhi was invited to give lectures in France, Italy and Belgium. Through study and exchange, foreign friends have developed a strong interest in Bajiquan, and reached a consensus with Wu Lianzhi that Bajiquan workshops are held in Europe regularly every year, and a series of books and teaching CDs in different languages are published one after another. Wu Lianzhi said: "Judging from the development of octupole boxing in Japan, South Korea and Europe, the terminal positioning of octupole boxing, which originated in China and belongs to the world, will not be empty talk."
