Anhui River Basin is located in Anqing City, Anhui Province, which is one of the reasons why Anhui is called "Anhui" for short.

Originated in Dabie Mountain area, it spans Yuexi, Buried Hill, Taihu Lake, Huaining, Wangjiang and other counties, with Huangmeijian (elevation 1693 m), Yingshanjian (elevation1/28m) and Jiangjun Mountain (elevation1/kloc-) in the west. It is bounded by Huaihe River Basin in the north, susong county and Meiziling, Xiangmingshan and Huayang River basins in the south, and Yuan Tan Shop in the buried hill in the northeast, which are multi-branch tip (altitude 172 1m), common tip (altitude 1563m) and Maoer tip (altitude/kloc-0) respectively. Dabie Mountain is divided into four branches from Tuanling, Yuexi (elevation1460m) to the southeast. The east branch enters the hilly area from Wu Shiyan in Qianshan County and winds eastward to Anqing River. The middle two tributaries enter the hilly area from below Sanjianling in Qianshan County and north of Taihu County, one reaches the north of Qianshan County and the other reaches Wang Jiahe. The west branch enters the hilly area from below Huating, passes through Xujiaqiao to the south and turns to Wuchang Lake to the east. These four tributaries constitute the three major water systems in Anhui, with Anhui water in the east, diving in the middle and long river in the west, and they merge into one near Shipai, which is called Anhui River. In the upper reaches of the mountain area, the mountains on both sides of the river are overlapping, the valley is narrow and steep, the water is fast, there are many reefs and beaches, and there are many pebbles in the river bed; The hills in the middle reaches are undulating, the river valley is wide, the water flow is gentle, the river bed is sandy, and there are many farmland on both sides; The lower reaches are plain polder areas and lake beaches, which are flooded by river water and prone to waterlogging. Anhe River, with the long river as the main source, originates from the southern foot of Huangmeijian in Yuexi County, and the source is called Yinhe, which flows south, crosses the pavilion to the front of the store and merges into it. Go to Longwan and enter the Flower Pavilion Reservoir. The reservoir area is a long river, flowing southeast, passing through Xinchong and Duli, and leaving Huangling. After passing through the eastern part of Taihu County, Xincang and Huangni Town of Qianshan County, it sneaked into Zuo Na Laoyutan and reached the mouth of Zuonaliu River in Anhui Province. The old fish pond, hereinafter referred to as Anhui River, flows northeast through Shipai Town, passes through Jiangzhen Town and Shankou, and joins the Yangtze River in the south of Shamaozhou in the western suburb of Anqing City. The total area of the basin is 6442 square kilometers, of which mountainous areas account for 60.4%, hills account for 2 1.0%, and lakes and polder areas account for 18.6%. The total length of the river is 227 kilometers, of which the main pipe is 44 kilometers from Laoyutan to the estuary, and the river is 500-900 meters wide, with an average gradient of 1/3200. Entering the lake area below Jiangzhen, the width is 1.5km, and the slope is 1/5000. The river gradient from Niuzhen to Xincang is about 1/2000, the river width is 200-500m, and the river width below Xincang is 500-700m. There are dikes on both sides of the river from Huating to Hekou. According to "A Brief History of Yangtze River Water Conservancy", the ancient Yangtze River was in the lower reaches of Huayang River and Wanhe River, and its course changed greatly. In the early Ming Dynasty (1368), Daguan Lake and Zhanghu Lake were the ancient roads of the Yangtze River. Around 260 AD, the Anhui estuary was in Shipai (called Stone in ancient times). Later, with the siltation of the Yangtze River, the sediment in Anhui Province spread, and the estuary moved eastward year by year. In the past 300 years, it changed from calamus clip to Shamaozhou. In the early days of the People's Republic of China, the rivers below Shipai were divided into five rivers: Nitanggou River, Yijia River, JD.COM River, Yangshu River and Jiangjiazui River. The main river is JD.COM River, and all other estuaries are silted up, so there is little water flow at the entrance in dry season. After Nitanggou River and Yijiahe River meet at Wang Gong Temple, the river surface is about 60 ~ 70 meters wide, and flows into Zhangda Lake from Youfanggou via Beimiao (Dahekou), which is the end of polder fields. There is a lake beach under the Beimiao, which is connected with Zhangda Lake in flood. Jiangjiazui River passes through Jiangzhen Town and enters Yijia Lake (also known as Nanhu Lake) through the lake beach. The river is about 80 meters wide. Yangshu River is relatively small, with a dike distance of 60 meters and a water surface width of 30 meters, and it also enters Yijia Lake. The main road is only 0/00 meter wide by the East River/KLOC, passing through Laogou for 2 kilometers, leaving the polder area and passing through the lake beach below. Xiaogang Ferry and Dadaogou in the east longitude are connected with the lakes of Zhang Hu and Daxie, and the Xiangbizui is connected with Yijia Lake in the north, and then passes through Hu Sha and Dongbali Lake Beach to Shankou Town. This is the general estuary of Anhui, with hills and mountains in the north, dikes in the south and mountains below Shankou Town in the north. The river passes through Zhangjiagang, reaches the west gate of Anqing, then flows into Shimen Lake and eastward into the Yangtze River. During the period of 1958, Anqing acted as the agent for the reclamation project in the lower reaches of Anhui, and the river course was straightened from Shipai to Shankou Town. Below Shankou Town, along the north side of Guangchengwei to the western suburb of Anqing City, follow the old road of Wanjiang, and the Yangtze River flows south. See the river chart near the lower reaches of Anhui 1958. Its right dike has become an integral part of Tongma dike on the north bank of the Yangtze River. The historical maximum flow rate of Shipai Station is 4700 cubic meters per second (1July 5, 983), and the minimum flow rate is zero (1March 9, 956). The historical highest water level is 21.13m (1July 5, 983), and the lowest water level is13.15m (1September 20, 957).
