Li Guosheng, 1939 was born in Hougong Village, Shawa Township, Hejian County, Hebei Province in July. He is a member of the Chinese Quyi Association, a director of the Beijing Branch of the Chinese Quyi Association, a national first-class actor and a crosstalk performer of the Beijing Quyi Troupe.

Li Guosheng has deep affection for his hometown and has been performing in Hejian since he was an artist. 1963 When he was in Hebei Quyi Troupe, he performed on the same stage with the famous Xihe drummer Wang Yanfen in Hejian Guangming Theater. 1983 came to Hejian Cultural Center with Beijing Quyi Troupe and performed in Shuqu Museum. His wonderful performance was warmly welcomed by his hometown elders. People in his hometown are also proud of his artistic achievements.

From 1964, Li Guosheng joined the China People's Liberation Army and worked as a crosstalk performer and musician in the military band of Chengdu Military Region. Until the end of 1969, six years of military life laid a good foundation for his political thought and artistic accomplishment.

Early experience

Li Guosheng was born in Beijing on July 1939. He returned to his hometown before he was one year old. He lived in his hometown until he was six years old and went back to Beijing to go to school. He spent most of his winter and summer vacations in his hometown. He loved the art of cross talk since he was a child, and he was diligent and learned. He has cooperated with Hou and Kobayashi and left a deep impression on the audience in performances all over the country and at some major festivals.

I studied under Liu Baorui, a famous comic actor and stand-up comedian since childhood. Later, he studied under the famous crosstalk artist Luo Rongshou. He once held a three-year tribute to the crosstalk master Hou, which benefited a lot. He cooperated with Xiaolin for nearly 20 years and was selected as the best crosstalk partner in China.
