Wang Xiaobo, 1952 was born in Beijing in May.
1968 ~ 1970, educated youth of Yunnan farm. This experience became the background of his most famous work, The Golden Age. 197 1 ~ 1972, a native of Muping, Shandong Province, jumped the queue and later became a private teacher. 1972 ~ 1973, a worker of Beijing niujie teaching instrument factory. 1974 ~ 1978, a worker in a semiconductor factory in Xicheng District, Beijing. Workers' life is the writing background of his novels such as Love in the Revolutionary Period. 1977 met and fell in love with Li Yinhe, editor of Guangming Daily, and then got married. 1978 ~ 1982, a student in the Department of Trade and Economics of China Renmin University. I majored in trade, economics and commodity science. 1982 ~ 1984, teacher of China Renmin university. Started writing "The Golden Age". 1984 ~ 1988, graduate student, master's degree, Center for East Asian Studies, University of Pittsburgh, USA. I began to write novels based on the legends of the Tang Dynasty, during which I got the guidance of Mr. Xu Zhuoyun. 1988 ~ 199 1 year, lecturer, Department of Sociology, Peking University. 199 1 ~ 1992, lecturer in accounting department of China Renmin university. 1992 ~ 1997, freelance writer. 1April 1997 1 1, died of a heart attack in Beijing.
His published works include: Golden Age, Silver Age, Bronze Age, My Spiritual Home, Silent Majority, Black Iron Age and Forever. His collection of comments includes: Romantic Knight, No Silence, and Biography of Wang Xiaobo. The screenplay "East Palace and West Palace" won the Best Screenplay Award at the Argentine International Film Festival, and also entered the Cannes International Film Festival with 1997, making Wang Xiaobo the first person in China to win the Best Screenplay Award at the International Film Festival.
