Mr. Du was born in a scholarly family. His grandfather and father respected Confucius and Mencius, and his calligraphy and painting were excellent. Mr. Wang studied calligraphy since he was a child. At the age of 9, he studied painting with Wu, a famous painter in Jiangnan. For decades, he inherited the tradition, devoted himself to studying calligraphy and painting, and formed his own unique artistic style. Mr. Du's calligraphy is a collection of beginners' calligraphy. He is good at four aspects: truth, grass, official script, seal script, especially official script, which is rigorous and beautiful and appeals to both refined and popular tastes. It is praised as the representative of "Nanlishu" by people from all walks of life.

Mr. Du, an ancient painter, borrowed this new method of integrating with nature. His figures, landscapes, flowers and birds are widely selected, with exquisite ideas, fluent pen and ink, and free and eclectic. Won the first prize of the joint exhibition of the first China Forestry Painting and Calligraphy Competition; Gold medal in the 2nd World Chinese Art Competition, China International Literary and Artistic Works Fair: both calligraphy and Chinese painting are superb works, and Du was selected as one of the 50 famous painters in the "2008 Olympic Painting and Calligraphy Art Museum". Calligraphy and painting works have been selected by many scholars and are deeply loved by Chinese and foreign friends. He used to be a senior engineer and calligraphy professor at Beijing Forestry Management Cadre College. He was good at figures, flowers and birds, official official official scripts, and created official scripts in the south, which was elegant and agile. Representative works include Optimism and Longevity, Jiangshan Map, Mingyue Map, and couplets of seal script, official script and running script.
