Does the enterprise have the right to detain employee resumes?
Whether the employer can detain the employee's resume after leaving the company is an internal matter of the company, so it is recommended to negotiate with the company. This is not clearly stipulated in the law.

In reality, few people ask employers to return their resumes after leaving their jobs. If employees ask them to return their resumes, the employer should also return them to the employees who left the company.

Because the resume is not a certificate, the law only stipulates the requirements related to the seizure of documents.

According to Article 9 of the Labor Contract Law, the employer shall not detain the employee's identity card and other documents, and shall not require the employee to provide a guarantee or collect property from the employee in other names.
