1947 Joining the China People's Liberation Army. Joined China in the same year.

He used to be the leader and deputy instructor of the ship management team of the Third Field Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Participated in the campaigns of Jiaodong, Jinan, Huaihai and Zhang Xia.

During the War of Liberation, he served as a correspondent, guard, monitor, deputy platoon leader and monitor, and participated in the battles of Qijiabao, Yexian, Laiyang, Jinan and Huaihai.
