Dongzhi county, which belongs to Chizhou City, Anhui Province, is located in the south of Anhui Province, on the south bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, at the junction of Anhui and Jiangxi provinces, and is the starting point of the 800-mile Wanjiang River.
