1979 to 1984 worked in the education department of Maoming Education Bureau;

1984 to 1985 as deputy secretary of the Party branch of Maoming No.1 Middle School;

1985 to 1993 served as vice chairman and member of the party group of Maoming Federation of Trade Unions;

1993 served as chairman and party secretary of Maoming Federation of Trade Unions from 2003 to 2006, and served as member of the Standing Committee of Maoming Municipal Committee, chairman and party secretary of Maoming Federation of Trade Unions from 2003 to 2006;

From June, 5438 to February, 2006, he served as member of the Standing Committee and Secretary General of Maoming Municipal Committee.
