1935 to 1937, participated in the December 9th movement, the national liberation vanguard in Beiping, and the September 18th student movement.
1938 to 1949, successively served as the youth minister of the special Committee of Sulu-Henan border region and secretary of the central county party Committee, secretary of the lakeside district Committee of the CPC, secretary of the political department of the Eighth Route Army 1 15 division, secretary of the political department of Shandong Military Region, secretary-general of Northeast Liaodong Military Region, and 4 1 army/kloc-of the People's Liberation Army.
1950 to 1954, successively served as Secretary-General of Guangxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, member of Party Committee of Guangxi Military Region, Deputy Minister of Cadre Management Department of Central South Military Region and Minister of Cadre Department of Political Department.
1955 transferred to Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (now China Institute of Atomic Energy) as deputy director and secretary of the Party branch.
1958 served as deputy secretary of the party Committee and executive deputy director of the institute of atomic energy, 1964 served as director of the science and technology bureau of the second machinery department.
1980 to 1982 served as acting party secretary of the atomic energy institute.
1983 retired. Deputy ministerial cadres and ministerial medical care.
He died in Beijing on March 5, 2008.
He was awarded the Second Order of Independence and Freedom and the Second Order of Liberation in People's Republic of China (PRC).
