1956 was admitted to Shaanxi Radio Art Troupe, and served as a performer, composer, conductor and deputy head successively. 1972 was admitted to Xi' an Conservatory of Music to study composition; 1984, Shaanxi Banhu Society, the first professional society of Banhu in China, was established. 1985 to Shaanxi Song and Dance Theatre.
