Liang Ping is smart, alert and conscientious. Fu Jian, the imperial clan of the former Qin Dynasty, was attracted by Wang Zuo because of his talent. In the first year of Shouguang (355), Yan Sheng succeeded to the throne as emperor, taking Liang Pinglao as a special progress and leading the imperial history. But he was addicted to alcohol, neglected politics, and often killed ministers. So Liang Ping suggested that Fu Jian, who was popular at that time, take his place as soon as possible, and got Fu Jian's approval. In the third year of Shouguang (357), Fu Jian and his brother Fu Fa staged a coup to abolish and kill Fu Sheng, claiming to be the King of Heaven and taking Liang Pinglao as the right servant of his ministers.

In the first year of Ganlu (359), Fu Jian took Liang Pinglao as the ambassador to observe the festival, served as the commander-in-chief of all military forces in Beifan, and was also the general of Zhenbei, guarding the northern soil to prevent the invasion of Xiongnu and Xianbei. Soon, I will add Kaifu Yitong Third Division and Fengshuo Fanghou. In the eighth year of Jianyuan (372), when Liang Pinglao died in office, he had lived in the north for thirteen years. The local Xianbei and Huns respected him and settled in the north. Fu Jian called him Huan Hou.

In the Battle of Feishui, Zi Liangcheng, a general of the Imperial Guard, led an army stationed in Luo Jian Town and was killed in the battle with Liu Laozhi, a general of the Jin Dynasty.
