Sima Yi (179-25 1) was born in Wuyang Village, Wenxian County, Hanoi County (now Zhaoxian Town, Wenxian County, Henan Province). Born in a gentry family, he was a minister of Wei in the Three Kingdoms period, a politician and strategist, and a founding hero of the Western Jin Dynasty. The viceroy, general, Taiwei and Taifu, who had served in Cao Wei, were important ministers who assisted Wei for four generations and later became powerful ministers who controlled Wei's state affairs. He is resourceful, resourceful and has made many expeditions. The most remarkable achievement is that he led the army twice to successfully resist Zhuge Liang's Northern Expedition and pacify Liaodong Expedition, which made important contributions to the development of farming economy such as reclamation and water conservancy. After his son Si Mazhao became king, he was honored as the King of Jin. After his grandson proclaimed himself emperor, he was honored as Emperor Gaozu Xuan, so he was also called Emperor Gaozu and Jin.

In August of the third year of Jiaping (25 1), Sima Yi died at the age of 73. In September of that year, Sima Yi was buried in shouyangshan, Yin He, and in Zheng Wen, chasing Guo Xiang and the county magistrate. Sima Fu accepted his last wish, resigned from the county magistrate, performed a special ceremony and ordered a simple burial. Posthumous title was later changed to Selected Works. When Wei Chan arrived, Emperor Wu of Jin named Sima Yi Xuan Di, calling his mausoleum plateau and the temple Gaozu.
