Brief introduction of Fenghuang Mountain in Putian City, Fujian Province
Fenghuang Mountain in Putian is located at 1 km west of Putian City. Because it looks like a phoenix spreading its wings, it is named Phoenix Mountain, also known as Nanshan. Guanghua Temple at the southern foot of Phoenix Mountain is one of the famous ancient temples in Fujian, with more than ten scenic spots. The middle part of Phoenix Mountain is a famous "stone room smoke" landscape, and there are many sea caves where the ancients lived, so it is called "stone room rock". Miao Ying, a famous monk in the Tang Dynasty, meditated here and often crossed two elephants, so it was also called Fuhu Rock.

The winding path of Fenghuang Mountain is paved with 100 multi-level stone steps, and the juniper beside the road can be embraced by two people. Turquoise clips are like walls, and cliff stone carvings adorn them. There is a boulder on the side of the road, engraved with the seal script "Hu Fuyan" of Zuo Shuo in the Song Dynasty, and above it is "Stone Chamber Yan Jing She". In front of the Jade Emperor's Temple, there is a pair of Eight Immortal Columns, which are exquisite in carving skills and lifelike in image. It is a treasure of stone carving art, and a seven-story four-corner brick tower stands behind the temple, which is exquisite, simple and unique. Nearby, a huge stone stands abruptly above the rock group, about 20 feet long and shaped like a tongue, so it is called "dragon tongue stone". On the mountain, Gu Song was born on a rock and thrived. There is a wind pavilion under the pine tree, where visitors can have a rest and enjoy the scenery far and near. Every spring morning, clouds often drift between strange rocks and jungle shrubs, and the green trees of Cuifeng are swaying, so it is called "the stone room hides smoke". In addition, there are many scenic spots, such as immortals, tiger sources, curved pools, empty observation platforms, Nietai, Hai Yin Stone, and many cliff stone carvings since the Song Dynasty.

Yushiyan, northwest 1 km, is another famous scenic spot of Fenghuang Mountain, "Zhu Zhiquan Waterfall". Zhiquanxi comes from Maitreya Rock, and the strange rocks on the bed are strewn at random, which is called Plum Blossom Festival. Legend has it that in ancient times, someone was herding cattle here. Suddenly, a white-haired old man scolded him, saying that this is a vegetable field for immortals, and the water the cows drank polluted the water source. During Zheng De's reign in Ming Dynasty, Putian painter Chen Boxian lived in seclusion here, calling it Zhiquan. In the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, the magistrate Jin of Putian, Henan Province came. Now there are dozens of stone carvings in the stream, which are cultural relics protection units in Putian City.
