Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau is the functional department of Beijing Municipal People's Government in charge of the city's public security work, under the dual leadership of the municipal government and the Ministry of Public Security. All districts and counties have county public security bureaus, and some township streets have police stations. The county public security bureau and the police station are led by the people's government at the same level and the public security organ at a higher level respectively.
Responsibilities: Beijing Public Security Bureau is the department in charge of public security work in Beijing. Under the leadership of the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Government and the Ministry of Public Security, undertake the following duties:
First, implement the principles and policies of public security work, draft relevant local laws and regulations, and organize the implementation of public security work in Beijing;
2. Grasp the situation in Beijing that affects policy stability and endangers domestic security and social order, formulate relevant countermeasures and be responsible for organizing their implementation;
3. Prevent, stop and investigate illegal and criminal activities, deal with public security accidents and riots, manage assemblies, processions and demonstrations according to law, and manage special industries and dangerous goods;
Four, maintain traffic safety and traffic order, deal with traffic accidents;
Five, organize the implementation of fire control work, the implementation of fire supervision;
Six, to undertake the security work of the party and the state and important foreign guests;
7. Manage household registration affairs, nationality affairs, entry and exit affairs and foreigners' residence and travel in Beijing according to law;
Eight, supervision and inspection of criminals sentenced to public surveillance, criminal detention, deprivation of political rights and criminals who are executed outside prison, suspended or paroled, and management of detention centers, public security detention centers, compulsory drug rehabilitation centers, education centers and other places according to law;
Nine, responsible for the safety supervision of public information networks;
Ten, guide and supervise the public security work of state organs, social organizations, enterprises and institutions and key construction projects, and guide the public security work of mass organizations such as public security committees;
Eleven, responsible for reeducation through labor and reeducation through labor according to law;
Twelve, the implementation of public security science and technology, responsible for public security information technology, criminal technology, mobile technology construction;
Thirteen, responsible for the police security work of the public security department directly under the Municipal Bureau of equipment, equipment and funds, and guiding the police security work of the county public security bureau;
14. Formulate and implement the rules and regulations for the management of Beijing public security team, organize and implement the education, training and public security publicity of the whole police, manage cadres and police ranks according to their authority, carry out police supervision, and investigate and deal with cases of violation of law and discipline by Beijing public security team;
Fifteen, leading the Beijing public security fire, security forces, armed police forces to perform public security tasks and related business construction to implement leadership and command;
Sixteen, to undertake other tasks assigned by the municipal party committee, municipal government and the Ministry of public security.
