Brief introduction of Nie's former residence attractions:
Marshal Nie Exhibition Hall is located in the western suburb of Jiangjin City, with its back to Dingshan and facing the Yangtze River. The main building of the exhibition hall adopts the ingenious idea of integrating the monument and the museum. The 36-meter-high monument stands high in the center of the main hall, symbolizing the rocket rising in Ran Ran and Nie Shuai's great contribution to China's national defense science and technology.
Nie Shuai Exhibition Hall consists of the main hall and the bronze statue square, covering an area of about 20 mu. The bronze statue square is wide and flat, with two groups of large reliefs on the left and right, and a bronze statue of Nie Shuai stands in the middle. The main hall consists of preface hall, exhibition hall, Nie Shuai simulation office and bedroom, satellite launch simulation demonstration hall, painting and calligraphy hall, etc. It shows nearly 300 photos, more than 400 historical relics, inscriptions and books of the Party and the country, and nearly 100 paintings and calligraphy created by famous painters. In addition, it also collects more than 3,000 photos, hundreds of cultural relics and more than 500 famous paintings and calligraphy before Nie Shuai's death.
The museum also displays more than 40 domestic advanced weapons and equipment models, Long March rockets and various artificial satellites displayed in the military parade on the 50th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. In particular, the satellite launch simulation demonstration shows the scene of xichang satellite launch center through the comprehensive effects of sound, light and electricity in a huge sand table.
