The director of the Qixian County Education and Sports Bureau and the director of the Tongxu County Education and Sports Bureau, who have the main leadership responsibilities, were given serious warnings within the party. Three department-level cadres, including the leaders in charge of Qixian County and Tongxu County and the director of Kaifeng Admissions Office, who have important leadership responsibilities, were given warnings within the party or administrative demerits, and the director of Kaifeng Admissions Office was dismissed.
The relevant departments of Henan Province said that with the progress of the case, if new evidence is found, it will be dealt with seriously according to law, and there will be zero tolerance for cheating in the college entrance examination, and those involved in cheating will be investigated at any time to effectively safeguard the fairness and justice of the college entrance examination.
