Investigation on the Current Situation of Campus Life

I. Source and Determination of Subject
Cultivating students' innovative spirit and practical ability is an important goal of quality education. The development of practical activity classes in middle schools is an important way to achieve this educational goal. Since the last century, many schools have made active and fruitful explorations. In the textbooks of the new curriculum reform, all subjects have arranged courses about inquiry learning.
Our school is a rural middle school, and its software and hardware are relatively backward. Most students come from the countryside. They are not as well informed as their peers in the city. The family education environment of only-child or left-behind teenagers makes them lack self-confidence and don't care about the people around them. Our school implements weekends. For boarders who are far away from home and can't go back, they often have a lot of time at their disposal. As class teachers, they can guide students to carry out some meaningful research activities at an appropriate time.
It is a challenge for teachers and students in our school to carry out research-based learning. After reading a large number of research-based learning cases, combined with the reality of our school and students, I set the topic as "campus life". Building a civilized and safe campus requires the joint efforts of teachers and students. Only by guiding students to discover with their own eyes can students care about their own campus, understand their own lives, better arouse their sense of ownership of the campus, consciously abide by and maintain campus civilization, stay away from danger, participate in the creation of a "safe campus", and improve their learning ability and moral quality.
Second, the project objectives and scheme design
(1) Project objectives

2. Let students learn to design, collect and process information, learn to cooperate, discuss and communicate with others, and learn basic investigation and research methods.

(2) Scheme design
Establishment of 1. Sub-topic
"Campus life" covers a wide range, and students have their own strengths and interests. In order to arouse the enthusiasm of all the students, I designed the following seven topics together with the students: the current situation and problems of "campus life" discipline, health status and problems of campus safety, current situation and problems of campus water and electricity conservation survey, teaching survey, campus diet survey and students' spare time arrangement survey II. Specific scheme design.
The members of the research team are 66 students from Class 7, Grade One. After the publication of the seven sub-topics, students can freely choose the research content and form seven groups. Each group appoints a team leader, and then the team leader organizes members to discuss the research plan of the group together, and then implements it according to the division of labor.
Third, the implementation process of the activity
1. Learning and training: guiding students' sociological research methods (questionnaire survey, interview, information analysis, report writing, etc. ).

3. Each group analyzes and discusses the data and writes an investigation report. By the class teacher for the overall integration.
4. Summary of the topic. The class teacher writes a general report and uses the class meeting to summarize and comment on the students' investigation activities.
Fourth, students' research results.
(1) investigation report on the current situation and problems of the discipline
Generally speaking, most students in our school have good discipline, can listen carefully in class, respect teachers, and have strong autonomy in exams and homework. However, some students 1 1% have some problems, such as cutting in line while eating, playing mobile phone in class or sleeping.
The main reason for the problem is that students lack self-discipline, which is also closely related to the lax requirements of some teachers.
(2) Investigation report on school hygiene (65,438+09 people, including Li Ce, Su Min and Ji).
About dormitory hygiene, half of the students think that the design of dormitory bathroom is unreasonable. 59% of the students think that the dormitory area smells and is unsanitary. But at the same time, students also admit that the garbage in each class can be cleaned up in time.
As for classroom hygiene, nearly 50% of the classes in senior three can't meet the cleaning requirements. Judging from the survey results, the common reason is that a few students have not developed good hygiene habits.
As for the sanitary condition of the campus health area, most students can dump the garbage in the designated places and are basically satisfied with the sanitary condition of the campus toilets, but nearly 70% students think that the campus as a whole is not very clean.
In the survey, we found that the vast majority of students have a strong sense of hygiene and can consciously maintain the hygiene of campus, teaching and dormitory. Almost all students want to live in a clean campus environment, and admit that it has an impact on their study. The general psychological demand of students for a good sanitary environment is that the school can completely improve hygiene. As long as the school properly adjusts the layout of toilets, improves some facilities, increases publicity, further strengthens class hygiene management, and implements an effective supervision mechanism, a clean and beautiful campus will certainly appear in front of us.
(3) Investigation on the security situation of our school (Yang Ling, Lu, Yin Xing, Wu Xiaozhi, Xu Rong, etc.). )
We made seven investigations around the safety issue. The survey results show that electricity safety, sports safety and experiment safety are generally good, and only 7% and 3% students have had accidents respectively (the reasons are unknown).
There are three hidden dangers for students to express their opinions collectively. First, the loss of items on campus is more serious, and nearly half of the students admit that they have had the experience of losing or being stolen. Second, in some dead corners of the campus, it is common for students to gather to smoke, and half of them know that this situation exists; Third, there are major security risks in the corridor lighting of the teaching building, and most students are dissatisfied with this. Only 1/5 students think it doesn't matter.
To this end, the team suggested that schools install voice-controlled or light-controlled lighting for the corridors of teaching buildings. At the same time, supervise and stop a very small number of students from crossing the fence.
(4) Investigation on campus hydropower protection (Chen Yanyu, Ji Beibei, Gui Yingying, Wang Li, Wu Qingqing, Chen Hua, etc.). )

87% high school students in our school agree and advocate saving water and electricity, and have a strong sense of environmental protection, such as splashing the floor with face washing water and washing clothes; Reduce the use of mobile phones and keep them on standby for a long time. However, a few students still use the phenomenon of boiling water quickly in winter, which is neither safe nor environmentally friendly. It is hoped that the school will strengthen environmental protection propaganda and formulate relevant systems so that high school students can contribute to the harmonious development of society and campus.
(5) Teaching survey (team leader: Tian Haoran)

85% of the students think that our teacher is rigorous in teaching, conscientious in counseling and enthusiastic about students. Most students think that the school has complete hardware facilities. However, there are still some minor problems in teachers' teaching behavior. First, some teachers often answer their mobile phones in class; Second, very few teachers smoke in class; Third, 1/4 high school students reported that they had been punished by teachers or in disguised form. In addition, some students have reported problems such as leaking rain in the teaching building and lack of sports equipment.
It is suggested that schools should strengthen teachers' professional ethics education, further improve teaching facilities and strive to create a harmonious and civilized campus.
(6) Campus diet survey (9 people including Cha Wenbao, Gao Zhi, Xu Tao, Chen Qiuxia, Jia Gui, Guimaizao, etc. )

According to the survey, only 2% students are satisfied with the school canteen. 9 1% students have the habit of eating snacks, and a few students have the bad habit of dieting.
It is suggested that school canteens should appropriately reduce food prices, publicize food hygiene knowledge in the form of blackboard newspapers or announcements, and guide students to develop scientific eating habits.
(7) Investigation on the arrangement of students' spare time (Zhang Sheng, Liu Chao)
The survey shows that only 1 1% students choose to exercise after class, 60% students choose to rest, and 2 1% students still insist on studying.
According to the survey, most students have not formed the habit of physical exercise, and quite a few students don't know how to combine work and rest. The survey results also show that students' extracurricular activities are not well guided, which leads many students to be confused about the arrangement of this period.
It is hoped that all classes will strengthen the publicity of students' physical exercise, and schools and class teachers should give scientific guidance to students' spare time arrangement.

1. Xu Rong: Do everything with team spirit, cooperate with each other, obey the command and arrangement of the team leader, and don't go it alone, which will only drag down the collective.
Yin Xing: I gained a lot from this activity. It let me know how to carry out a research activity, let me know how to make a questionnaire and improve my practical ability. By issuing questionnaires, I learned to communicate with people boldly.
Xiao Lei: When I read the investigation report in the newspaper, I usually disagree with it. I just look around, and sometimes I say, "What! Not interested! " Then I put it aside, but I didn't find how many people's sweat condensed behind this simple investigation report! Only today did I know how difficult it is to produce an investigation report!
4. Chen Xiangxiang: Through this activity, I understand that cooperation is the premise of success and safety is the foundation of life.
5. Yang Ling: Every time we enter a class, we first look for the monitor, explain the reason and purpose of this activity, and introduce ourselves. They are all happy to help us.
6. Wu Xiaozhi: When we visited this step, the effect was not obvious. Some interviewees are unwilling to tell the truth for their own interests or reputations, and their answers run counter to the facts, so the survey results are not very accurate.
