A brief introduction to the author of Historical Trajectory;
Xie Chuntao, deputy director, professor and doctoral supervisor of the Party History Teaching and Research Department of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee. 1963 was born in Linshu county, Shandong province in February. 1978 to 1988 successively studied in Shandong Normal University, Zhejiang University and China Renmin University, and obtained bachelor's degree in education, master's degree in law and doctor's degree in law respectively. Since 1988, he has been engaged in the teaching and research of China's history and theory in the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. He has published monographs such as The Great Leap Forward and Lushan Storm-1959 A Brief History of Lushan Meeting, History of Socialism with Chinese characteristics, Turning to China-1976 ~1982, and edited 50 Years of Picture History of the Republic and A Brief History of China-From Confucius to Deng Xiaoping. In 2005, he was awarded the title of National Advanced Worker by the State Council. He is now the executive director and deputy secretary-general of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Party History Society, and has been employed as a visiting professor or special researcher by many universities and research institutions.
