Yuan Longping, male, Han nationality, without party affiliation, 1930, was born in Beijing on September 7th. His native place is De 'an County, Jiangxi Province. He is an expert in hybrid rice breeding in China and a pioneer in hybrid rice research and development in China. He is known as "the father of hybrid rice in the world".
