1, school profile:
The school was founded in 1978, formerly known as Wuxi Branch and Changzhou Branch of Nanjing Institute of Chemical Technology. 198 1 With the approval of the State Council, the school was named Jiangsu Institute of Chemical Technology; 1992 became a subordinate college managed by China Petrochemical Group, and was renamed Jiangsu Institute of Petrochemical Technology.
In 2002, it was renamed Jiangsu Institute of Technology; 20 10 was renamed Changzhou university. After 43 years of development, Changzhou University has built a complete bachelor-master-doctor training system and a multi-level scientific research and social service system. In 2020, the school ranked in China University of Soft Science 129.
2. Teachers:
There are more than 2,000 faculty members, more than 670 full-time teachers in senior professional and technical positions, and doctoral teachers account for more than 60%. There are 5 academicians of the Academy of Engineering (double-employed), 1 distinguished professor, "Changjiang Scholar" of the Ministry of Education, and 2 famous teachers of the National "Ten Thousand Talents Program".
3, scientific research platform:
The school has successively held five Sino-foreign cooperative education projects with Menu University in Ireland, St. Min University in Canada and City University of New Jersey in the United States, and won the high-level demonstration project of Sino-foreign cooperative education in provincial universities 1 project.
The university and Bolivarian University jointly established the first Confucius Institute in China in Venezuela, and opened a Confucius classroom in Andalusia Autonomous Region. The school has established think tank platforms such as Intercultural Research Institute, Thai Cultural Research Center, Latin American Research Center, Israeli Cultural Research Center and China Cultural Overseas Communication Research Institute.
Scientific research achievements of Changzhou University:
Since the 13th Five-Year Plan, the school has won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award 1, the second prize of National Technological Invention Award 1, the silver patent award of China 1, the second prize of National Excellent Achievements in Social Sciences 1, and 97 provincial, ministerial and industrial scientific research achievements awards.
Obtained 274 national science and technology projects, including major and key projects 17; SCI, EI, CPCI and CSSCI have collected more than 3,400 academic papers and awarded more than 700 invention patents/kloc-0. The school has 1 national and local joint engineering research centers and 1 national key laboratories.
There are 12 provincial key laboratories, 2 provincial collaborative innovation centers, 7 provincial humanities and social science research bases, and 1 provincial university science park incubators. The school has established a comprehensive cooperative relationship with more than 50 large domestic petroleum and petrochemical enterprises and more than 50 governments at or above the county level.
It has built 22 provincial engineering technology centers, 43 school-enterprise joint R&D centers, 487 Industry-University-Research bases and 432 school-enterprise alliances with enterprises. In 20 16, the school won the "China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Award".
