Kunming belongs to Yunnan Province, which is the capital of Yunnan Province. It has four seasons like spring and a pleasant climate all year round, so it is called Spring City. Kunming is located in Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau in the southwest of China, bordering Guizhou and Guangxi in the east and entering the Central Plains via Chongqing in Sichuan in the north. It connects Vietnam and Laos in the south and Myanmar in the west.

Yunnan province
