Cheng was a famous soldier in the early Tang Dynasty? How old did Cheng live?
Cheng introduced Cheng (AD 589-665), whose original name was Cheng, and later renamed Dong 'e, Jeju (now southwest of Dongping, Shandong). The founding general of the Tang Dynasty, Lingyange ranked nineteenth among the twenty-four outstanding figures.

At the end of Sui Dynasty, there was chaos in the world, and people everywhere rose up and a large-scale peasant uprising broke out. At the peak, it reached the level of hundreds of rebels, ranging from hundreds to tens of thousands. Small-scale, each with no political goals, wandering around, burning and looting. At this time, Cheng gathered a group of heroes to jointly defend the village and guard against the rebels. A few years later, the rebels either annexed each other, surrendered or defected, or even became extinct. Around the 13th year of Great Cause (AD 6 17), three large-scale insurgents were formed, namely, Hebei Rebel in Dou Jiande, Huorang, Wagang Army in Shimi and Jianghuai Rebel in Du. In this case, Cheng's self-protection could not last, so he had to go to Shi Biao of Wagangjun.

The Wagang Army was originally founded by Huo Jean. In the 12th year of Great Cause, Shi Biao, who had rebelled with Yang Xuangan, came to Wagang Village. Shi Biao was good at strategy, which made Wagang Army win many battles. Huo Rang elected Shi Biao as the manager, named Gong Wei. After Shi Mi came to power, his ambition began to be exposed, and he used new people such as Cheng, Cheng and Cheng to form an "internal army". In the 13th year of the Great Cause, Shi Biao first killed Huo Rang and seized power.

In the first year of Tang Wude (6 18), due to the improper command of Shi Mi, the Wagang Army was defeated by Wang in Luoyang, and dozens of generals such as Cheng suffered heavy losses and their strength was greatly reduced. Soon, Shi Biao was defeated again, surrendered to Tang Jun, and the Wagang Army was shattered. Cheng and other generals had no choice but to surrender to the king. Although Wang is good to Cheng, Cheng He is still dissatisfied with Wang, who is cunning by nature. In the second year of Wude, Wang attacked the Tang Dynasty and made Cheng a general and Long Xiang a general. When Tang Jun fought in Jiuqu (now northwest of Yiyang, Henan Province), Cheng, Jin Niu and other generals led dozens of Sineitai to Tang Jun.

After the Tang Dynasty, Tang Gaozu asked them to follow Li Shimin, the king of Qin. Li Shimin already knows their names and respects them very much. He appointed Cheng Wei's left three-way army as the general manager of Ma Jun. Until the seventh year of Wude (624), Tang Jun finally defeated all forces and insurgents and unified the world.

From the beginning to the return, it has made great achievements and enjoyed high prestige, which has already posed a great threat to Prince Li. In order to keep the identity of the heir, the prince and Li Yuanji joined forces against Li Shimin. In the nine years of Wude, the struggle between the two sides reached a fever pitch. Prince Li first poisoned the banquet, causing vomiting blood for several liters. At the right moment, when the Turks invaded, the Prince took the opportunity to recommend Li Yuanji to take the place of the army to go to war, and transferred the generals Cheng and Weichi Gong to go to war together to weaken and get rid of it. Then there is the well-known change of Xuanwu Gate. The king of Qin pre-emptively killed Li and Li Yuanji, and was made a prince. After Tang and Yuan abdicated, Li Shimin succeeded to the throne and became Emperor Taizong.

Li Shimin was a great hero after he ascended the throne. General Zuo was appointed as the secretariat of Luzhou and changed Lu Guogong to the secretariat. In the seventeenth year of Zhenguan (643), he painted twenty-four portraits of heroes in Lingyange, and Cheng ranked nineteenth.

In the sixth year of Emperor Yonghui (655), Cheng was ordered to win a great victory in the crusade against Western Turkistan, but he listened to Wang's slanders and did not want to expand the results. When he entered Biducheng (now southeast Kazakhstan), he ignored Sue's opposition and ordered a massacre and looted property. After returning to Beijing, he was demoted to Shu Ren for improper command.

In the second year of Linde (665), Cheng was finally at home. Li Zhi posthumously presented a title of generals in ancient times and Yizhou prefect, and was buried in Zhaoling, known as "Xianggong".

How old did Cheng live? On February 7, 2002 (February 27, 665), Cheng died in Baishi's home at the age of 77. Li Zhi paid tribute to a title of generals in ancient times and the commander-in-chief of Yizhou, and was buried in Zhaoling. Shu Yue xianggong. In the same year1October 1 1 day was buried in Jiujiu Street.

There are actually many theories about how old Cheng lived. The most exaggerated thing is that he 128 years old, and there are 72 and 73 and so on. Most of these statements come from all kinds of storytelling and romance. In fact, according to official records, Cheng Shan finally returned to his hometown and lived for 77 years (589-665).
