He graduated from new york State University with a master's degree in computer science, a famous English teaching expert, the founder of American English thinking learning method, a senior consultant and invited host of English Channel of China People's Broadcasting Station, and a well-known ancient book lover and collector. He used to be the dean of the Education Development Research Institute of New Oriental Education Technology Group and the software engineer of Bell Communication Research Institute in the United States.
