2 Note Yue Meizhong (1900 1982)

Modern medical scientist. Formerly known as Zhong Xiu,No. Chu Yun. People from Luanxian County, Hebei Province. He studied literature and history in his early years and studied medicine at the age of 25 because of illness and anger. He practiced medicine in northern Hebei and western Shandong, and organized the "Chu Yun Medical Association" to treat diseases and give lectures. After 1949, he served as the director of internal medicine, class teacher and postgraduate professor of Xiyuan Hospital, Research Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, vice president of the All-China Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine, vice president of the Chinese Medical Association, deputy head of the medical and health group of the 5th CPPCC National Committee, and member of the 5th the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC). He has high attainments in Zhongjing's theory. Especially good at treating kidney disease, liver disease and senile diseases. In his later years, he devoted himself to cultivating senior talents of traditional Chinese medicine. He is the author of Yue Meizhong's Medical Records, Yue Meizhong's Medical Affairs and Yue Meizhong's Experience in Treating Geriatric Diseases.
