● 1986: Graduated from Chinese Department of Hunan Normal University.

● 1989: graduate student majoring in literary aesthetics.

When I graduated, I was assigned to be a reporter on the news program of Hunan TV Station.

●1Feb. 994: Joined CCTV's "Son of the East" program as a reporter and host.

●1February, 1996: I entered the news review department of CCTV and worked as a reporter and host in the news investigation column.

● June 5438 +20031October: worked as a producer, host and reporter in Face to Face.

During the work of Son of the Orient, Wang Zhi won the first prize of China TV News in 1994, 1995 and 2002 respectively. 1996 won the "Jin shiming" cup national TV host contest news gold medal. In 2003, it was widely accepted by everyone because of a series of reports during SARS. In 2004, Wang Zhi won the May 4th Youth Award in China.
