Fuzhou polytechnic is a full-time higher vocational school approved by Fujian Provincial People's Government, put on record by the Ministry of Education and organized by Fuzhou Municipal People's Government. The school is located in Fuzhou University Town, with a campus area of 1 122.08 mu (400 mu of which is being relocated) and a total construction area of about 250,000 square meters. The school has 13 teaching institutions, including intelligent engineering department, information engineering department, electromechanical engineering department, traffic engineering department, architectural engineering department, cultural creativity department, business department, special education department and Marxist college.
The school is an excellent school in the first round of talent training level evaluation of higher vocational colleges in China, the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot units of the Ministry of Education, a demonstration modern vocational college in Fujian Province, and a labor certificate unit in Fujian Province on May 1st. It has been rated as a civilized campus in Fujian Province for five consecutive years.
The school has solidly promoted the "three-round education" reform pilot, deepened the three cultural connotations of "inspirational talent", "ingenious dream" and "love for work and dedication", and established two national intangible cultural heritage bases, Fuzhou Pinghua and Fuzhou Nuo Art, and Fujian Quyi teaching demonstration base. Student Quyi Club was elected as the governing unit of the National College Quyi Association.
