Content introduction:

Yue Fei was an outstanding patriotic general in the Southern Song Dynasty and made outstanding contributions to the country and the nation. He was born in an ordinary peasant family in the north of China, representing the suffering people. With a strong desire to defend the rural country, fight against disasters and save Qian Qian's suffering compatriots, he struggled all his life in the fierce battlefield. Yue Fei was killed by the scum of the nation on the charge of "unwarranted", and his life story and speech spirit were once deliberately buried. In the following centuries, writers came one after another, but mistakes were inevitable in exaggeration.

The Biography of Yue Fei is the representative work of the author who studies the characters in the Song Dynasty, and it is also an important historical work that comprehensively studies the politics and military affairs in the Song Dynasty. The first edition of this book was published on the day of 1945' s victory in the Anti-Japanese War, and was revised twice. It was reprinted in 1983. The book accurately outlines the era of Yue Fei's life, truly describes Yue Fei's achievements, image, style, thoughts and sentiments, and makes a fair evaluation of this shining historical figure in history. All these reflect the author's "research achievements" and "arbitrariness", and are praised by academic circles as "writing first-class history books with extraordinary historical talents" (in Zhou Yiliang).
