Founded in the Spring and Autumn Period, it is famous for its vertical emblem residence.
Dongyue Temple, also known as Apocalypse Temple, is located in the east of Taiqing Palace. It is an independent temple, the only temple called "Temple" in Taoist temple, and the only surviving ancient building in the huge complex of Taiqing Palace. This is a temple dedicated to Dongyue the Great, the God of Mount Tai. It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Anhui Province.
