Comrade Jianxin Miao has been engaged in middle school education, teaching and management for more than 20 years. He is a "famous principal" with rich experience, remarkable achievements and the longest seniority among the current principals in our city. As the principal for 22 years, he has studied hard, worked hard and innovated constantly, and made outstanding contributions to the education, teaching and management of the school. In 2004, he was awarded the title of "Famous Principal" by Nantong Education Bureau, and in 2005, he was awarded the honorary title of "Young and Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions in Jiangsu Province".

Comrade Jianxin Miao has made great achievements in academic research. In recent five years, dozens of educational management papers have been published or won prizes in national, provincial and municipal journals, especially in the theoretical construction and practical verification of school moral education. In recent years, combined with my rich practical experience in moral education, I put forward a new concept and viewpoint of constructing a new moral education curriculum structure with students as the main body, practice as the main line and shaping the soul as the main purpose, and published a monograph "New Theory on Moral Education", which was well received by experts and peers. At the same time, according to the design of this new theory, bold reform and innovation have been carried out in the practice of school moral education, which has achieved remarkable results and produced far-reaching and extensive influence.

Under the guidance of Comrade Jianxin Miao's new concept of moral education curriculum, the innovative practice of moral education in Tongzhong has attracted high-level attention and produced great repercussions throughout the country: in June 2005, Comrade Liu Yunshan, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and secretary of the Secretariat, visited our school in person and highly praised Comrade Jianxin Miao's school performance and moral education innovation in recent years, and praised Tongzhong as "a famous school in China"; Hu Zhenmin and Luo Shugang, Vice Ministers of Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, Vice Ministers of Education, Party Secretary and Governor Liang and other senior leaders, and famous education experts such as Tao, Director of the Central Institute of Education and Vice President of the China Education Association, fully affirmed our school-running practice.
