I am a student in Class xx of xx College. My name is xx. According to the regulations of the school, I solemnly applied to our department this semester, and my education major was transferred to my psychology major.

I have been interested in psychology since high school. I often collect various information related to psychology. I also wanted to study psychology in the college entrance examination, but my father's intervention failed.

Now, after half a year's school life, I have learned a lot about pedagogy and found that I really don't like this major and I can't study hard at all. If I have to study this major, it will only be like digging a well in the Gobi. No matter how deep I dig, I can't dig water. Even if you accidentally add a little, the price paid by then has far exceeded the value of water.

As for psychology, after further understanding, I can't put it down! Over the past six months, I have generally read Introduction to the History of Psychology and also browsed some psychologists' works. When reading these books, I can always concentrate on them, and I can naturally get into them, and my thinking will become very active. I think I have the characteristics of studying psychology. I like to observe everything around me, have keen insight into things, be good at independent thinking, and more importantly, have perseverance, be able to persist in my pursuit and be willing to pay sweat for my ideals.

I hope my four-year college life can be substantial and meaningful, instead of wasting it on a major I don't like. I am willing to dedicate my youth to the psychology I love, for my dream and for the future of psychology!
