Fan Xinmin, professor, male, was born in 1953. He graduated from Capital Normal University with a bachelor's degree in history, and graduated from Sociology Research Office of Institute of Sociology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He is currently the head of the Department of Sociology, School of Social Work, China Youth University for Political Science. His main research interests are applied sociology and contemporary social problems in China.
