Lanzhou is a prefecture-level city, which belongs to Gansu Province, the capital of Gansu Province, and is located in the middle of Gansu Province. It has jurisdiction over 5 districts and 3 counties and is one of the important central cities in the western region. Lanzhou was called "Jincheng" in ancient times. In 583 AD, due to the existence of Gaolan Mountain in China, "Jincheng County" was changed to Lanzhou, which was the first time that the place name "Lanzhou" appeared.
