Professor Liu Baiyun has been engaged in neurosurgery since he graduated from 1988, and worked in the brain surgery department of Jilin Provincial People's Hospital for 4 years. 1992 continued to study for a doctorate in neurosurgery at Capital Medical University, studying under Academician Wang Zhongcheng, and engaged in the research on the mechanism and clinical treatment of cerebrovascular diseases. 1995 was selected into the Beijing Science and Technology Rising Star Program (the third batch), and completed the training program and obtained the certificate in 2000. In the same year, he won the third prize of Beijing scientific and technological achievements 1 with the first prize winner. In 2002, I completed the key project of Beijing Science and Technology Commission "Applied Technology Research on the Protective Effect of Mild Hypothermia on Central Nervous System Injury", among which I was responsible for the sub-project "Applied Research on Mild Hypothermia in the Treatment of Severe Craniocerebral Injury". In 2004, he was hired as the deputy director of the second ward of the neurosurgery center of Tiantan Hospital and the director of the brain injury research room of the Institute of Neurosurgery, mainly conducting basic and clinical research on severe brain injury. This specialized brain trauma ward with a specialized brain trauma laboratory is unique in Beijing and rare in China. In the past ten years, with the care and support of leaders at all levels, more than 60 papers have been published in domestic and foreign magazines, of which 35 papers have been published by the first author, and he is the editor-in-chief of "Operation Guide for Acute Craniocerebral Trauma" and has participated in many books. Has been responsible for undertaking ten provincial, bureau-level and horizontal cooperation projects with millions of funds.

Since 1988 has been engaged in clinical work for 20 years, her clinical skills and professional abilities have been continuously improved. Especially, since 1995 graduated and stayed in the neurosurgery department of Tiantan Hospital, she has successively rotated various professional wards (including tumor, vascular disease, trauma, spinal cord, children, function and other professional wards), so that her clinical skills have been comprehensively developed and the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases in neurosurgery department have been realized. Skillfully handle some difficult neurosurgical diseases, and successfully perform more than 2,000 neurosurgical operations including brain tumors, cerebrovascular diseases, brain injuries, spinal cord and other related diseases. During this period, he was sent to Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang and Guizhou for technical support, and was responsible for the clinical skills and doctor training of neurosurgery, which promoted the improvement of local medical level and achieved good results. Some achievements in the work have been reported by the media many times. Since 2004, we have mainly carried out basic research and clinical treatment of severe craniocerebral trauma, deeply studied the pathological mechanism after craniocerebral trauma, standardized the treatment of severe craniocerebral trauma and trained personnel, and achieved good results, which made our department's trauma treatment and research level in the forefront of China. He has spoken and presided over many large-scale conferences at home and abroad, and is now the chief physician and professor of neurosurgery center of Beijing Tiantan Hospital.
