The evaluation behind Ceng Zesheng.
Before the Changchun Uprising, General Ceng Zesheng worked in the old army, but he was a patriotic, just and honest soldier. When War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression broke out, the national disaster was imminent. He volunteered to go to Yunnan to fight, led the troops to fight with the enemy for dozens of times, and did his duty as a soldier to defend the motherland and the nation. Although he followed Chiang Kai-shek in the civil war and became Chiang Kai-shek's civil war tool, he eventually opposed Chiang Kai-shek's civil war by uprising. After the uprising, he led his troops to participate in the War of Liberation, especially the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and made indelible contributions. Ceng Zesheng was a general who pursued progress, brightness and patriotism all his life.

Xiao Hua, political commissar of the First Corps of the Northeast Field Army, once pointed out: "The Changchun Uprising is of great historical significance for further disintegrating the enemy, liberating Shenyang, winning the Liaoshen campaign, and then accelerating the victory process of the national liberation war."
